Exclusive webinar
The power of personalization: Because in events, one-size-fits-none
Thursday, 26th June | 4pm UK | 11am ET | 8am PT

In 2025, participants expect more than just a cookie cutter event... 🍪
Personalization has become the new standard. But what does that actually mean in practice?
Join us for a practical, no-fluff discussion, requested by Grip's Advisory Board. Learn how the smartest event organizers are moving beyond mass communication to create tailored, meaningful journeys, from the moment participants are acquired, to when they return next year.
You’ll hear from two industry trailblazers who have helped some of the world’s biggest events connect with their audiences in more human, data-driven ways.
This isn’t about vanity tokens or surface-level tweaks, it’s about treating every attendee like the VIP of their own event experience 👑
What we’ll cover:
- Personalization for participant acquisition
- Balancing automation with authentic human connection
- Real-world examples of event personalization done right
- How tech, data, and storytelling can work together
- Quick wins (and common mistakes) when scaling event personalization
- Whether you're acquiring participants, tailoring agendas, nudging the right connections, or fine-tuning follow-ups, we’ll show you how to make personalization feel seamless, not stitched on
Why this matters:
- Boost engagement: Tailored content and agendas keep attendees more involved, from pre-event to post-show
- Create stronger connections: Smart matchmaking helps attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors meet the right people
- Deliver higher ROI: Personalized experiences lead to better lead quality, happier sponsors, and repeat attendees
- Make your event memorable: People remember events that feel relevant and made for them — not just another conference
- Build long-term loyalty: Consistently personalized experiences increase attendee satisfaction and retention
- Meet modern expectations: Today’s audiences expect the same personalized touch they get from apps like Spotify or Netflix
🍪 Cookie-cutter events are out, and custom-fit is in 👔

Rachel Stephan, Founder and CEO, Snöball
Rachel is the founder of Snöball, a people-powered event marketing platform built on one big idea: your attendees are your best promoters.
With over two decades in the event industry, Rachel started her journey in advertising before launching her own agency, Sensov/, where she helped organizers around the world drive event attendance through strategic marketing.
The spark for Snöball came from a simple insight — event marketers were relying too much on the same old outreach. To grow events, she realized, you need to tap into the trust and networks of your audience. That’s exactly what Snöball does: it helps organizers scale word-of-mouth by turning speakers, attendees, and partners into advocates.
